What Determines the Price of a Corporate Film?
Why do corporate film quotes vary so much? We explain the items that build the budget and the questions to ask when requesting a quote.
There is no single answer to "how much does a corporate film cost?", because no two films have the same scope. Two films of the same length can differ several times in price depending on scope. In this article we transparently explain the items that build the budget.
The main budget items
Shooting days and locations
A one-day shoot at a single facility and a five-day shooting plan across three cities do not fit the same budget. As locations multiply, travel, accommodation and set-up times are added.
Equipment level
4K shooting is the standard today; needs such as 8K, high-speed (slow motion) shooting, a jib and a drone grow the equipment package.
Script and concept
A story written specifically for your company, staged scenes and art direction require more preparation than a standard walk-through film, but the memorability is proportionally higher.
Voice-over, music and languages
A professional voice artist, licensed or original music and multilingual versions (critical for export markets) are items added to the budget.
Post production
Color grading, sound mixing, 2D/3D animation and the density of graphics directly affect editing time.
Ask these when requesting a quote
- How many shooting days, and with what crew?
- Are script and copywriting included in the price?
- How many revision rounds do I get?
- In which formats will I receive delivery (TV, social media, fairs)?
- Who owns the music licence?
At İkarus Medya we always write quotes item by item and never give a price before the scope is clear. For your corporate film, see our service page or request a quote directly.
