Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice is issued by İkarus Medya Prodüksiyon ("İkarus Medya") acting as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. Personal Data We Process

• Identity and contact data: full name, email address, phone number, company name (submitted by you via the contact form).
• Request content: the service you are interested in and the information you share in your message.
• Transaction security data: IP address, submission date/time and the consent record (to prevent abuse and evidence your consent).
• Cookie data: essential and (with your consent) analytics cookies described in the Cookie Policy below.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

• Answering your request and preparing a quote - KVKK art. 5/2-c: directly related to the conclusion of a contract.
• Carrying out communication activities - KVKK art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest.
• Operating the site securely (session management, abuse prevention) - KVKK art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest.
• Traffic analytics (Google Analytics) - KVKK art. 5/1: your explicit consent. Analytics cookies run only if you accept the cookie notice.

4. Transfers

Your personal data is never shared with third parties for marketing. The following limited transfers are technical necessities:

• Hosting and email infrastructure: service providers operating our web and mail servers (as data processors).
• Google Analytics (with your consent): if you accept analytics cookies, traffic data is transferred to Google LLC (abroad). If you decline, no analytics data is transferred at all.
• Authorities: competent public bodies where required by law.

5. Retention

• Contact form messages: up to 2 years after your request is concluded, then deleted.
• Transaction security records (IP, consent record): for the periods required by applicable law.
• Cookies: for the periods listed below.

6. Your Rights (KVKK art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information; to learn the purpose and whether data is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred; to request correction, deletion or destruction; to request notification of these operations to third parties; to object to results arising from exclusively automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damages.

You can submit requests to info@ikarusmedya.com or in writing to our postal address above. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.

7. Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use two kinds:

Essential cookies (no consent required)

• ikarus_sid - session cookie: required for secure form operation (CSRF protection) and session management. Deleted when the browser closes.
• ik_consent - the record of your cookie preference (kept in browser storage).

Analytics cookies (subject to your consent)

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) - measures visit statistics anonymously; stored for up to 24 months. These cookies load only if you click "Accept" in the notice at the bottom of the page. If you decline, the site keeps working fully.

You can withdraw your consent at any time: click reset cookie preference and the notice will be shown again. You can also delete or block all cookies from your browser settings.
